This building originally  belong to the Capron Fire Department.   When a new fire department was built, the building was sold and used as an auto body shop.

Volunteers work for three months cleaning, painting, repairing, and installing a walk in freezer and cooler as well as shelving  After completing two rooms, we opened our doors to the public on February 1st 2005 reserved 72 families that first month.

We continued to clean, paint, repair and remodel one room at a time until the entire building was usable.  We now have over 4400 square feet filled with food nonfood products, close, household products, and furniture.
